About Us

Welcome to Pawever Companions, where we wholeheartedly believe in the profound healing and therapeutic benefits that animals can bring. As the founder, let me share with you the deeply personal journey that led me here.

From a young age, I intuitively sought solace and comfort in the presence of our family pets whenever I faced challenging times. Their unconditional love and unwavering support became my refuge, a source of solace during moments of sadness or distress. Recognising the immense power they held to uplift spirits and provide genuine companionship, I discovered a profound passion for animals.

Later, as an adult, my mother was diagnosed with clinical depression. During this challenging time, I made the decision to entrust my beloved dog, Bindi, to her care. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but deep within my heart, I knew that Bindi's presence would prove invaluable in my mother's healing journey. Seeing Bindi’s positive impact on my mother's well-being reinforced my conviction that animals possess an innate ability to bring comfort, joy and a sense of purpose.

More recently, amidst the prolonged lockdowns in Melbourne, a friend was struggling with anxiety and depression. Recognising her struggle, I offered my own cat as a temporary companion, knowing the immense comfort and support this furry confidant would bring during the challenging times. Witnessing the healing power of animals, I was once again reminded of the immeasurable impact they have on our emotional well-being.

Now, armed with a wealth of personal experiences and an unyielding dedication to the transformative power of animal therapy, I have embarked on this venture to extend the healing touch of animals. Whether you are a corporate office seeking to promote wellness among your employees, an aged care facility looking to improve the lives of residents, or an individual seeking private in-home therapy sessions for yourself or a loved one, we have tailored services to meet your needs. Our therapy sessions offer a range of benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety, increased well-being, enhanced socialisation, and improved cognitive function.
